The Brief

To Produce and Dress 65 Colourful Table Centres to be placed in a Marquee in the Grounds of Kings College, Cambridge on the Occasion of their 800th Anniversary. 

The Table Centres were required to be in blocks of 4 Different Colours to enable the 650 Guests to be seated quickly.

What We Did

We filled Our 70cm Conical Vases with Crushed Cellophane to create the Illusion of Crushed Ice and then Poured Orange, Blue, Green or Pink Water over the Cellophane for a stunning effect. We placed Coloured Table Numbers onto Each Vase using Velcro. After placing each vase on a 40cm Round table Mirror we sprinkled Coloured Gels onto the Table Mirror and added 3 Tea Light holders with Long Burn Tea Light candles.

The University Supplied some Table Banners which we positioned on top of the mirror and onto the Table.
